HOW LONG AFTER MY APPOINTMENT DO I HAVE TO WAIT BEFORE EATING AND DRINKING?
Composite resin material is cured to it's full strength before you leave the surgery so you can eat or drink as soon as you like, however if you have local anaesthetic you need to make sure you don't have anything too hot and risk burning yourself.

WHAT ARE PREVENTATIVE RESTORATIONS?
Teeth have natural pits and fissures which are extremely difficult to keep clean and are very susceptible to decay because they are often directly linked to the underlying dentine. We recommend these pits and fissures are fully explored, tested for decay and filled with composite resin. This creates a smooth surface which is very much easier to keep clean. With regular brushing and flossing and six monthly dental examinations with our Dentist we can virtually guarantee these teeth will remain decay free.

WHEN SHOULD MY CHILDREN START VISITING THE DENTIST?
Cildren should begin seeing a Dentist once all 20 deciduous teeth have erupted into the mouth, this is normally around the age of 2. It is important to ensure, even from this early age, that all teeth are healthy and in the correct alignment.
